We went for a jet ski adventure with Lenny and Whitiora last week, and it was just superb. Zooming along in paradise, learning the stories of the past, including Lenny's colourful whakapapa. Our faces ached when it was over, from smiling so hard. And the snapper and mussels they shared the night before were also ace. Kia ora!

Len and Antoinette are so welcoming and warm. They love to share their culture and food with you as spend the day out on the beach. would highly recommend renting one of their jetskis or kayaks and spending some time on the water! thank you both for your hospitality and making our trip to Hokianga so memorable!

I did a tour of the Hokianga with Len in May. Jetski is the ultimate way to see the Hokianga harbour which is one of the most amazing spots in the North Island to begin with. Although I have had my own Jetski for years navigating the hidden tributaries that Len showed us was an exhilarating experience and I would not have known about them without doing the tour - having Len there to guide made me feel comfortable letting it rip through these waterways. It was also great hearing about the birthplace of NZ, the commercial history of the harbour and Irish cannibals in a fascinating history lesson conducted from a Jetski. Make sure you stop off for a feed in Rawene as well at the great little cafe above the water

Have been jetskiing with Len twice now, could not possibly recommend them more. Perfect way to see the harbour and Len and Antionette are fantastic hosts, full of info about the area, really go the extra mile. Great fun for everyone! Thank you so much, I’ll be back next time I’m in NZ

The name says it all!  We had such a great weekend in Hokianga, so much to do and see and a real highlight going on a jet ski tour of the incredibly big harbour with Awesome Adventures. Not only great tour guides but also such awesome people. Can’t wait for our next visit and next adventure

Excellent Habour Tour , wish we had done the full 3.5hr , The Ski’s are a beautiful machine to ride Comfortable and Stable Smooth and easy to operate , enough power to have a good play if you want too .Seeing the Hokianga from the water, particularly when it glasses and your riding along on the reflection of the surrounding terrain , its a total immersive history lesson ...i felt well worth the money . Awesome Guys .Thank you.

Went out yesterday with Awesome Adventures Hokianga and I couldn’t fault them in anyway! I did the JetSki tour around Hokianga on the harbour and would do it again in a heartbeat! Len was very friendly and knew a lot about the history of the town! If you are debating doing it, just do it I promise you won’t regret it

 My work colleagues and I did a Jetski trip last week with Len. It was amazing!! Great commentary about the history of Hokianga and a great coffee at the halfway point.
My TOP TIP: If you have been on a Jetski before, get yourself one of the single ones and hang on for the trip of your life!! #getsomeair

Len and his nephew were fun, friendly and as hospitable as can be. They were also very knowledgeable about local history and culture in Hokianga, a stunning, lesser spotted part of NZ. We went for a kayak trip in the harbour and caught boatloads (literally) of mussels. When we returned to shore Len cooked up the mussels and served them with Maori bread - delicious! Take a trip to Hokianga and take a tour with Len, you won’t be disappointed!
